Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support accounting operations for a service-based organization in North Charleston, South Carolina. This Contract to potential long-term position requires expertise in bookkeeping processes, proficiency with QuickBooks and ServiceTitan software, and strong organizational skills to manage daily financial activities effectively. The role involves collaborating with various team members to ensure seamless office operations and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and deposits using QuickBooks.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all accounting functions.
• Utilize ServiceTitan software for efficient management of service workflows and financial tracking.
• Perform month-end close processes, including revenue recognition and consolidation for external accountants.
• Update and manage item pricing within QuickBooks for billing and bidding purposes.
• Collaborate with field technicians, managers, and customers to streamline workflow and maintain effective communication.
• Monitor office supply inventory and place orders to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager regarding work progress and administrative concerns.
• Take on special projects and address ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support the organization.
• Safeguard company assets by implementing robust financial practices and controls.• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of six years of accounting experience, with at least four years of proficiency in QuickBooks and ServiceTitan software.
• At least two years of management experience overseeing accounting operations.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting systems, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
