CATERING COOK
We are looking for an awesome Catering Cook. They are responsible for preparing a range of foods using a variety of equipment.
Specific day-to-day duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for a variety of food preparation including breakfasts, lunches, hors d'oeuvres, dinners and desserts (vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, sauces, etc.).
- Produces consistent food quality and portioning.
- Maintains and organizes inventory (dry goods, coolers, freezers, etc.).
- Assists other team members to maintain a very clean and sanitary kitchen.
- Hours vary and some weekend availability is required – but NO NIGHTS.
Other qualities we look for in our Catering Cooks:
- 1+ years of solid cooking experience that relates directly to the responsibilities listed above. Although culinary school training is not required, it is seen as an asset.
- Must be willing and able to work early mornings.
- Works great with team members (even when under pressure when the kitchen is busy) to create outstanding food that gets delivered on time.
- Realizes that their responsibilities are integral to the kitchen’s success
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Loves food and enjoys having a great time in the kitchen (while still being serious about staying on task and producing delicious food)!
