Grady CPAs, PC is a dynamic and growing public accounting firm based in charming Rhinebeck, NY. This position is in Rhinebeck, NY ONLY.
We’re looking for a CPA or CPA candidate with at least 2+ years of recent public accounting experience to assist in performing audits, drafting financial statements, and preparing tax engagements for privately held businesses, non-profits, condominiums, and homeowner associations.
Your Role
- Conduct audit, review, and compilation engagements in compliance with professional standards
- Prepare corporate, nonprofit, and individual tax returns
- Carry out tax planning and technical research
- Draft financial statements and related disclosures
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide updates
- Deliver practical business advice grounded in sound financial understanding
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license (or actively working toward licensure)
- Minimum 2 years of recent public accounting experience
- Familiarity with GAAP and standard tax compliance procedures
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Starting base salary is $80,000, with significant increases up to $120,000 based on relevant experience, responsibilities, and whether the candidate holds an active CPA license.

Work Location & Schedule
- In-office position based in Rhinebeck, NY
- Monday through Friday | 8-hour daytime shifts (with expanded tax season hours Jan-April)
- Occasional local travel for client meetings (mileage reimbursed)
