The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and activities that drive customer engagement and brand growth. This role involves creating and managing marketing materials, overseeing projects, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. The Marketing Manager also maintains strong relationships with customers and the community, primarily through social media and other communication channels, while monitoring and responding to customer feedback. This position requires adherence to all company policies and standards of behavior.
Essential Functions
- Develop and manage social media strategy and content for Bodacious Shops, Bodacious Bookstore, Bubba’s Sweet Spot, and Great Harvest Bread Company across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok; includes promoting classes, public events, merchandise, food, and beverages.
- Serve as an advertising liaison with local advertising agencies, publications, Visit Pensacola and the chamber of commerce.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters using customer databases.
- Create, update, and manage the distribution of the public events calendar.
- Design and distribute surveys for all shops, compile and analyze results, and present findings to managers and leadership.
- Represent the Bodacious Shops in meetings with local companies, organizations, and government representatives.
- Create branded graphics, flyers, and other digital/print collateral to promote events, products, and services.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to customer feedback via Google Reviews, email, review platforms, and social media.
- Provide administrative support to management as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested or directed to ensure the continued success of the organization.

- Expert-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate marketing efforts across multiple brands and business units under the company umbrella.
- Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills and strong decision-making capabilities.
- Experience developing and executing seasonal or campaign-based marketing plans tied to revenue and customer engagement goals.
- Highly resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.
- Must adhere to all company policies and standards of behavior.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat and/or Canva, and major social media platforms.
