Position Overview:
Tap Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to support the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team in Fremont, California. This full-time leadership position provides advanced clinical expertise, evidence-based guidance, and mentorship to elevate nursing practice and optimize patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in cardiovascular or critical care nursing, advanced clinical judgment, and a passion for mentoring and empowering clinical teams.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience:

Minimum of three years of experience in the area of clinical specialty required.

One to two years of experience in a leadership, education, or advanced practice role preferred.
Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license by date of hire.

Clinical Nurse Specialist certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing by date of hire.

Current BLS certification required.

National Provider Identifier (NPI) may be required if needed for Clinical Nurse Specialist designation prior to hire.
Additional Requirements:

Must be able to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and foster collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Clinical Nurse Specialist experience preferred.

ACLS or PALS certification preferred.
