Position Overview

The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth while supporting operational excellence. This hybrid role combines business development with hands-on service oversight, making it ideal for a professional who understands both sales strategy and service delivery within the commercial cleaning space.

This individual will serve as the primary point of contact in the local market—building client relationships, managing accounts, and ensuring services meet high-quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (≈65%)

  • Identify and pursue new commercial clients through research, networking, and outbound outreach

  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to showcase service offerings

  • Perform live demonstrations of services (e.g., carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning)

  • Develop proposals and close new business opportunities

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales pipeline in CRM systems

  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat and recurring revenue

Operations & Service Delivery (≈35%)

  • Perform hands-on cleaning and restoration services as needed to ensure quality standards

  • Create work orders and coordinate with technicians for accurate service execution

  • Conduct quality control inspections and follow up with clients post-service

  • Assist with scheduling, resource planning, and day-to-day operations

  • Support and guide a small team to maintain service excellence




RequirementsQualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the commercial cleaning industry (required)

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in a B2B or service-based environment

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, floor care, and restoration services

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead operational activities

  • Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills

  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for growth and high performance

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
