Job DescriptionCustomer Service Representative: Beloit, WisconsinOur customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Customer Service Representatives to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction while collaborating across multiple departments.Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Maintain customer pricing using computers and appropriate software.
- Confer with customers by telephone, email, or in person to provide accurate information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
- Check to ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customers' problems and follow up within 48 hours to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep accurate and timely records of customer interactions or transactions, including inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
- Resolve service or billing complaints by activities such as exchanging merchandise, issuing refunds, or adjusting bills.
- Collaborate with Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, Quality Manager, and President to coordinate customer orders and resolve disputes.
- Complete contract documentation, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance orders with 98% accuracy.
- Refer unresolved grievances to management while continuously communicating updates with customers.
- Recommend improvements in products, packaging, shipping, or service methods to prevent future problems.
- Examine shipment contents and compare them with records to verify accuracy.
- Record shipment data for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes with 98% accuracy.
- Prepare work orders or shipping orders to route materials appropriately.
- Confer with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Work as a team player, collaborating with various departments to meet customer satisfaction.
Customer Service Representative Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Management or Sales preferred.
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with customers and co-workers effectively.
- Strong math skills, including ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing work requirements.
