Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is sought for a K-12 public school located in Staten Island, NY. This contract role spans the 2025/2026 school year, beginning shortly after Labor Day (September 4), and offers an opportunity to support diverse students in a dynamic educational environment.
Key responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to students across grade levels, primarily within an elementary setting, although flexibility is required as the district finalizes caseload distribution for K-12. The candidate will collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans and contribute to student progress and success.
Qualifications and preferred experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- New York State Speech Teacher certification (TSSLD) required
- Candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may be considered
- Preference given to those with New York State Bilingual Extension certification
- Ability to adapt to varying caseload demands across K-12 grades
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
