Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization to hire a Temporary Staff Accountant to support the Finance team during a medical leave. The company operates in a fast?paced, collaborative environment and serves a wide range of industries through its multi?facility production and materials operations. The Temporary Staff Accountant will support key accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, month?end close, and operational accounting activities. This role requires strong GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
Temporary Staff Accountant (3-6 Month Assignment)
Location: Fallsington, PA Department: Finance & Accounting Salary: $35- $40/hr. Job Type: Full-Time; Monday-Friday, On Site Duration: 3-6 Months (Medical Leave Coverage)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with month?end and year?end closing processes.
- Perform corporate general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting functions.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Analyze inventory and cost accounting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Support implementation and improvement of internal controls, accounting procedures, and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software and strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline?driven environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
