Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 + Benefits
Our rapidly growing client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Innovation Center, where new product concepts, automation solutions, and next-generation manufacturing technologies are developed and tested. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design, robotics integration, and working at the intersection of mechanical systems and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through production
- Support robotics and automation initiatives, including integration of robotic cells and end-of-arm tooling
- Perform CAD modeling, prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs
- Contribute to programming and controls support for automated equipment (robotics, PLC interaction, or similar)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, controls engineers, and R&D personnel
- Participate in troubleshooting, process improvement, and optimization of mechanical systems
- Support innovation projects focused on improving efficiency, quality, and product performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2–6+ years of mechanical design or automation experience preferred
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
- Exposure to robotics, automation, or mechatronics systems strongly preferred
- Basic programming or controls knowledge (robot programming, PLCs, Python, etc.) is a plus
- Hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and within collaborative engineering teams
