Under the direction of the Fitness & Wellness Director, the FWC coordinates and administers Fitness & Wellness/Center programs and services, including functional assessments (pre and post), land and aqua classes, one-on-one orientations, individual and small group personal training, equipment instruction and other Fitness & Wellness programs to beginning exercisers, seniors, the Seabury community and others. Develop and maintains appropriate data entry, filing and documentation. Assist in the development of reports and other documentation for the Fitness & Wellness department. Help conducts research and assist in preparing presentations, analyses, community needs related to Fitness & Wellness programming. Coordinate internal and public events related to the Fitness & Wellness Center. Must stay current on latest research and trends in the field.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or directly related field and equivalent certification (ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NASM) Must possess a valid CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
Experience: At least 2 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Experience working with the senior population preferred.
