Underground Plumbing Manager

$100,000–$125,000+ (Performance-Based)

About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced Underground Plumbing Manager to take ownership of our underground plumbing, sewer, and drain operations. This is a leadership role for someone who knows the field, understands performance metrics, and enjoys building high-performing teams.
You’ll oversee daily operations, develop technicians, manage labor and materials, and partner with leadership to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction across residential projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily operations for underground plumbing and sewer & drain teams
- Schedule technicians based on skill level and job complexity
- Coach, train, and develop technicians in service quality, safety, and sales
- Track KPIs and lead weekly performance reviews
- Manage labor and material costs to improve profitability
- Partner with dispatch, sales, and call center teams to maximize efficiency
- Order and manage materials to ensure job readiness
- Build relationships with inspectors, municipalities, realtors, and partners
- Recruit, retain, and develop top underground plumbing talent
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and quality workmanship
- Serve as a mentor and hands-on leader for the field team
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years managing field technicians in underground plumbing, sewer, or drain services
- Strong technical knowledge of residential underground plumbing systems
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and growth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Proficient with service software, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and lead change in a growing organization
