Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for experienced Radiation Therapists seeking a contract position in Fort Wainwright, AK. Location:

Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- ARRT (T) certification and current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably with Varian TrueBeam equipment
- Travel experience preferred
- Candidates with 4 or more years of experience highly valued
- Must currently reside at least 50 miles outside of Fairbanks
- Two completed supervisory references required at application
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Deliver accurate and safe radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols
- Operate and maintain Varian TrueBeam radiation therapy equipment
- Respond to radiation emergencies on an on-call basis, which is rare and usually occurs before or after regular shifts
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety
Contract Details:
- Contract position with potential start dates ASAP, March 16, or March 30
- Free housing available, including one-bedroom units (pet-friendly units not available)
- On-call duties limited to emergencies
- Holiday coverage as needed
