About The Role
PolyNovo is currently searching for aMarketing Specialistto join theMarketingteam. Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist, this position will support event planning and logistics, content creation and collateral development, sales support, project and vendor management, digital marketing, and social media management for the Marketing team. This is a hybrid position based out of PolyNovos Carlsbad, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the planning and execution of PolyNovo's events, including conferences, trade shows, and educational seminars.
- Help maximize brand exposure by identifying and implementing strategies to increase event engagement and lead generation.
- Develop graphics and compelling marketing content, such as brochures, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and digital assets.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and communicate key messages effectively to targeted audiences.
- Support content needs for internal and external communications, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and branding.
- Partner with the Sales team to create and distribute tools that clearly communicate PolyNovos product value propositions.
- Manage the inventory and accessibility of marketing collateral to ensure sales representatives have the resources needed to engage effectively with customers.
- Facilitate feedback from the sales team to continuously improve and refine marketing materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors.
- Track timelines and deliverables to ensure projects launch on time.
- Maintain and update assets within content management platform.
- Oversee PolyNovos digital presence across website, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze digital metrics to optimize engagement and reach with target audiences.
- Identify trends and growth opportunities within digital channels to enhance PolyNovos online presence.
- Work with the Director of Marketing, Product Management Team, and Marketing Communications Team to support integrated marketing strategies.
- Assist in educating and engaging customers across North America through effective marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to support PolyNovos broader marketing goals.
- Ensure collaborative relationships with PolyNovo team members and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation is reviewed, current and compliant with the quality system.
- Assist with Ad-Hoc requests from other internal departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required. (Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred).
- 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and leverage new tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
- Familiarity with CRM and Project Management tools.
- Flexibility to travel as required for events. Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Graphic design experience preferred.
- Experience with Content Management Systems preferred.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
