Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Provide financial and tax planning advice to clients.
- Oversee bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
- Assist with process improvements and the implementation of new technologies.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
