Job Summary
The QC Receiving / Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role plays a critical part in ensuring only compliant products enter inventory and that stock levels remain accurate and organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality compliance
- Verify items against purchase orders and packing slips
- Record and report any discrepancies or defects
- Accept, reject, or quarantine materials based on inspection results
- Accurately enter received goods into inventory systems
- Maintain organized storage and proper labeling of inventory
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in QC, receiving, or inventory control
- Familiarity with warehouse or WMS systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- RF scanning experience
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures
- Understanding of inventory control methods (FIFO, cycle counting)
- Problem Solving
