Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunity for a skilled CT Technologist to support a busy Emergency Department in Saint Johns, FL. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment with advanced imaging technology and a dedicated team focused on patient-centered care. The position supports trauma and stroke cases in a fast-paced setting, requiring expertise in GE equipment and certification in ARRT CT.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standard CT scans with a focus on emergency trauma and stroke imaging
- Collaborate efficiently with ER staff to achieve rapid turnaround times
- Utilize GE and Siemens scanners, with expertise in Meditech and GE Centricity documentation systems
- Maintain a friendly, patient-focused approach using AIDET communication techniques
- Adhere to unit policies and support floating to the main CT department when needed
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- ARRT CT certification and valid Florida state license required
- Minimum of 1 year CT experience with demonstrated GE scanner proficiency
- Trauma and stroke imaging experience strongly preferred
- Advanced skills in Terra Recon or similar reformat platforms highly valued
- BLS certification required
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts)
- No weekend shifts, minimal voluntary on-call duties
- Work alongside a strong, tenured leadership team with two techs overnight staffing
- Access to 3 scanners including 2 GE and 1 Siemens in the main CT department
