Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a pivotal role supporting the educational success and well-being of students as a School Psychologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work district-wide, impacting a diverse range of learners and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. The position will begin August 18th, 2026, and run through June 4th, 2027, following the district calendar.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Nebraska Special Services Certificate, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Nebraska School Psychology Endorsement, or reciprocity qualifications
  • Robust knowledge of IDEA, special education eligibility procedures, and IEP processes
  • Proven experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive report writing
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated collaborative approach with families, district staff, and wider multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
  • Determine special education eligibility and make recommendations for student services
  • Actively participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings
  • Support the IEP process by interpreting assessment data and providing informed recommendations
  • Develop and help implement behavioral intervention and academic support plans
  • Provide expert consultation, training, and guidance to teachers, parents, and staff
  • Foster connections with outside agencies, medical professionals, and support organizations
  • Champion compliance with state and federal educational regulations
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and growth opportunities
  • Assist with crisis intervention and support as needs arise
