A dynamic opportunity exists for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position for the 2025-2026 school year in Saint Johns, FL, offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of elementary and middle school students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist License
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) therapists
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create tailored therapy plans based on individual student needs
Location:
- Saint Johns, FL (in-person required)
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Manage a caseload primarily consisting of elementary and middle school students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and provide support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state and district regulations regarding speech therapy services
