Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during surgical procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Remove and place All-on-X prosthetics
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental materials according to infection control protocols.
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
• Monitor patient comfort and vital signs during procedures.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies.
• Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and techniques to improve practice efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Current certification in CPR and basic life support.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor with patients.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in dental software and patient management systems.
• Texas State Dental Assistant Registration (RDA) preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
