The Position: We are seeking a Tax Senior / Senior Tax Associate to join our growing tax team. This role will be responsible for managing multiple tax engagements, preparing complex returns, supporting tax planning initiatives, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate brings strong technical tax knowledge, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative approach to client service and team development.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, partnership, and corporate filings with multi-state components.
- Support tax planning, projections, and advisory services for a diverse client base.
- Conduct tax research and prepare technical memorandums for complex tax matters.
- Manage multiple client engagements while coordinating timelines with managers and partners.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to tax staff, interns, and junior team members.
- Assist clients with accounting and tax-related inquiries and provide proactive solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and support discussions with tax authorities when necessary.
- Contribute to internal training initiatives and knowledge sharing across the tax team.
What You Need (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax engagements.
- Experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or EA license (or actively pursuing) preferred.
- Experience with tax software platforms and Microsoft Office tools preferred.
