Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Audiologist to support K-12 special education teams in a unique, per diem capacity through May 29, 2026. This role focuses on providing audiology expertise to assist with hearing and communication needs of students within a remote working arrangement, primarily serving a school district environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review audiology reports and provide informed recommendations for student support plans.
- Collaborate closely with special education staff and parents to aid in the development of goals tailored to students hearing and communication needs.
- Offer audiology support on an as-needed, on-call basis with minimal hours expected.
Qualifications:
- Valid professional credentials and educator certification in Audiology are required.
- Experience in K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Bilingual skills in English and Navajo (Din) are considered a strong asset.
Location & Schedule:
- Position supports schools located in New Mexico.
- Work is conducted primarily via remote (virtual) engagements.
- Flexible per diem hours to meet on-call service demands through the contract ending May 29, 2026.
