A busy, fast-paced Real Estate/Construction Services firm in Sunny Isles is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist with experience in high-volume environments to join their Accounting team onsite in Sunny Isles Beach. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, overseeing high-volume invoice generation, and executing collections activities to ensure timely payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills and a customer-focused mindset to maintain positive client relationships while resolving billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for the overall management of the entire life cycle of all projects within the company (all product lines in all geographic areas). Specific responsibilities will include the following:

• Issue initial and retainer invoices to customers.
• Apply customer payments – checks and credit card payment
• Responsible for collections follow-up for regular invoices and retainer invoices.
• Reconcile bank accounts – 5 accounts (one main account and 4 low volume accounts).
• Post journal entries prepared by the Corporate Controller.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3–5 years in a billing and/or collections role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Experience working with large client portfolios and maintaining accurate records is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle).
• Familiarity with CRM tools and AR management platforms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills. Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.
• Customer-service orientation and problem-solving ability.
