Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license required
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Background in providing direct therapy, evaluations, and developing individualized educational programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient in adapting and tailoring interventions for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver physical therapy services to students based on referrals and IEPs
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required documentation
• Work closely with educators and families to create supportive learning environments and communicate progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing appropriate goals and accommodations
• Provide guidance and training to school staff regarding mobility, equipment, and safe practices for students
• Adapt interventions to support both academic and functional outcomes across school settings
