The ideal candidate brings working knowledge of English theological content, and experience in audiovisual workflows. This position plays a key role in course consolidation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of production efficiency and quality metrics.

*NOTE: The applicant must be able to work from our Puebla, Mexico office.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and review audio and video assets, ensuring linguistic accuracy, timing alignment, and technical quality.

  • Ensure platform readiness by confirming that all multimedia components meet production standards.
  • Conduct final-stage reviews of courses prior to publication.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies across lessons and course elements.
  • Collaborate with other teams in a multimedia publishing environment.
  • Manage multiple course assets simultaneously while meeting delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase editorial efficiency and reduce revision cycles.
  • Support productivity and quality metrics, including on-time delivery, accuracy rates, and course completeness.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced mastery of grammar, syntax, and orthography.
  • Intermediate to upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2–C1), with strong reading comprehension of theological and academic material.
  • Demonstrated experience in editorial review, translation, or multimedia educational content.
  • Familiarity with audiovisual editing tools (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition, or similar).
  • Knowledge of audiovisual production workflows and multimedia learning formats.
  • High attention to detail in transcription accuracy, subtitle timing, and content synchronization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic background in Theology, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
  • Experience with theological or biblical studies content.
  • Experience in e-learning, mobile learning, or digital course production.
  • Familiarity with structured content workflows and metadata validation.
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • High-quality Mobile Education courses delivered on time and publication-ready.
  • Accurate and synchronized audio transcriptions.
  • Consistent theological terminology and editorial standards across multimedia assets.
  • Reduced revision cycles through effective first-pass quality control.
  • Measurable contribution to improved production efficiency and course completion metrics.
