    • Ensure compliance with all aviation safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    • Conduct pre-flight checks of safety equipment, first aid kits, and medical supplies.
    • Coordinate with the flight deck crew to ensure smooth cabin operations and effective communication.
  • Medical & Emergency Response
    • Provide advanced first aid and emergency medical assistance to passengers and crew when required.
    • Manage and stabilize medical emergencies in-flight using EMT or nursing-level expertise (e.g., cardiac events, respiratory distress, trauma, etc.).
    • Utilize onboard medical equipment such as AEDs, oxygen systems, and first aid medications with full competence.
    • Maintain detailed records of any medical incidents in compliance with company and aviation authority reporting standards.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the flight crew and ground-based medical professionals or emergency response teams.
  • Training & Compliance
    • Conduct periodic in-flight medical drills and assist in the training of standard cabin crew in first-aid response.
    • Ensure medical kits and emergency supplies are properly inventoried, sealed, and within expiration limits.
    • Stay current with required certifications, aviation medical protocols, and company training standards.
    • Participate in safety briefings, crew resource management (CRM) sessions, and recurrent training.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Nursing or related field preferred).
  • Current Certification by the National Registry of EMTs at the Paramedic Level or current licensure as a Registered Nurse with specialty certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).

  • Valid passport with ability to travel internationally.
  • Must possess an active Secret (or TS/SCI) security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
  • At least 5 years of clinical, emergency, or pre-hospital medical experience (hospital, ambulance, or EMS setting).

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain composure and authority in emergencies.
  • Physically fit and able to meet cabin safety standards (lifting, reaching, extended standing).
  • Culturally sensitive and adaptable to diverse passenger profiles.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality of passengers and medical events.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience and certification level.
  • Flight and travel benefits, per diem, and medical insurance.
  • Continuing education support for EMT/RN re-certification.
