Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Larchmont, NY for a Junior Designer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Sketching ideas, creating CAD drawings, and developing mood boards.
- Material Selection: Choosing fabrics, colors, and trims based on functionality, cost, and trends.
- Prototyping & Production: Developing prototypes, overseeing fittings, and providing technical specifications (tech packs) to manufacturers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Experience in visual storytelling, layout design, and creating graphics for digital and print media
- Understanding of branding principles and an eye for detail and creativity
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Knowledge of or passion for basketball and sports culture is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
