At Monte Nido Vista, we are dedicated to saving lives and empowering individuals to embrace their healthiest selves. Located in the beautiful Agoura Hills, CA, our residential treatment program specializes in helping adults overcome challenges related to Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction.

Our holistic approach focuses on:

  • Restoring physiological and nutritional balance
  • Implementing healthy eating and exercise routines
  • Eliminating harmful behaviors
  • Fostering motivation and engagement in treatment

We aim to help each client gain a clear understanding of their disorder and what is necessary for their personal recovery.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team on a part-time basis. This role requires availability for three days a week, with Wednesdays being mandatory.

Salary: $33 - $39.66 per hour

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy
  • Acting as a liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Offering therapeutic meal support while modeling a healthy relationship with food
  • Delivering safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Master’s degree in clinical counseling or a related discipline
  • A state license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is a plus
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
