Administrative Assistant – Event Planner
Location: Nashville, TN
Job Type: Full-Time, temp to hire
Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 annually, dependent on experience
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to work for a construction company in their main office. This consist of administrative duties as well as event planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:

Event planning and coordinating catering services for vendor/subcontractor events.

Office supply ordering.

Coordinating facility maintenance.
-
Booking and maintaining reservations for hotels, fights, etc.

Calendar management.

Organizing and attending safety events and safety training.

Answering phones, filing and other office duties as needed.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred

3+ years of administrative experience; construction industry preferred

Strong experience in Adobe, Excel and PowerPoint

Bluebeam experience (preferred)

1 year of construction experience or similar

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Work Environment:

Office-based role located in Nashville, TN

Monday through Friday, standard business hours

Occasional light lifting (documents, files, office supplies)
