Job Summary
The Record Center Specialist is responsible for safely handling, moving, and organizing storage boxes and materials in a warehouse environment. This is a physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lift, carry, and move boxes, bins, and totes weighing 10–100 lbs
- Load and unload materials using hand carts and pallet jacks
- Pick, process, and organize file storage orders
- Read labels and track materials using a handheld scanner and computer system
- Load boxes onto pallets and shrink-wrap pallets for shipment
- Operate hand trucks and material handling equipment safely
- Work on concrete and uneven surfaces and navigate stairs and ladders
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance
- Climb and balance on ladders
- Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
Safety Requirements
- Must wear protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 safety toe standards
- Slip-resistant footwear rated “Better” or “Best” is required
Qualifications
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic computer skills to track inventory and orders
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred

- 5 days per week
- 9-hour shifts including:

- Two 15-minute breaks
