Location: Hybrid – Vienna, VA (2 days/week on-site)

Overview
The HR Shared Services Center (SSC) Business Optimization team seeks a detail-oriented professional to support Payroll Operations. You will help ensure the integrity and efficiency of HR and payroll processes by performing system validations, reconciliations, and testing enhancements within Oracle Cloud HCM. This role offers the opportunity to make an impact in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform payroll system validations and data reconciliations in Oracle Cloud HCM and related HR platforms.

Test, document, and support system enhancements and process improvements.

Prepare and execute payroll data audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Analyze payroll data for accuracy and consistency; identify and resolve discrepancies.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.

Partner with HR Technology and Payroll teams to maintain seamless operations and system integrity.

Create reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel and, when applicable, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).

Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features and integrations.

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

1–5 years of experience in HR Shared Services or Payroll Operations, preferably in a systems-support or business-optimization role.

Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM or a comparable HRIS platform.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (large dataset analysis, pivot tables, lookups).

Experience with data validations, reconciliations, and audit support.

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar project-management tools.

Background in system testing, UAT coordination, or process optimization.

Knowledge of payroll compliance and relevant regulatory requirements.

Experience generating reports with OTBI or similar reporting tools.
