Location: Rochester, NY 14621
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36
Pay Range: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical (Acute Care) for an exciting job in Rochester, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned Med-Surg patient load (ratio 1:5–6) with RN support

• Provide care for medical, orthopedic trauma, and total joint replacement patients

• Perform IV starts and maintenance, phlebotomy, and blood product administration

• Care for PICC lines and central lines

• Deliver tracheostomy care and oxygen therapy, including high-flow systems

• Manage feeding tubes, wound care, and wound vacs

• Monitor telemetry and manage heparin protocols

• Collaborate with Rapid Response and Code teams

• Follow infection control and isolation protocols

• Accurately document care using EPIC EMR

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active New York State LPN License (single-state; non-compact)

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience

• BLS certification (current)

• Proficiency with EPIC charting

• Willingness to float within clinical competency

• First-time travelers are welcome
