50 Bed Community Hospital
22 ED Beds
Department Information:
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Cardiac Diagnostics, advanced TTE, TEE, Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo studies,
Chemotherapy Evaluations
Transplant Evaluations
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

Cardiac Sonographer: BLS; RCS, RDCS, Client (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through CCI) only (1) of these is required
Skills required:
TTE/Stress Echo
Required:
TTE complete with color and doppler
Ultrasound Enhancement Agents (UEA Definity/Optison)
Advanced imaging in accordance with ASE/IAC Echo including, but not limited to:
LV Global Strain
3D
HOCM
Agitated Saline Contrast studies
Preferred: Stress echo and Dobutamine Stress echo studies
Support within the Department:
Dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Educator and Chief Sonographer
