Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide skilled nursing care as an experienced Stepdown RN within a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients boarded in the Emergency Room, requiring strong clinical expertise and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Location:
Position is based in Port Wentworth, GA, within close proximity to a vibrant community known for its Southern charm and access to coastal attractions. The area offers a mix of suburban and waterfront living with convenient access to Savannahs cultural landmarks and recreational activities.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Georgia or compact nursing license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent Stepdown nursing experience
- Successful completion of at least one previous travel nursing assignment
- Recent professional references from previous travel assignments
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to stepdown patients in the ER setting
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments according to care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital standards and policies
Contract Details:

- Assignment within a 100-mile radius as per facility requirements
