Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year in the dynamic Milton, WA area. This opportunity is a full-time, contract position supporting an engaged school community. As one of two OTs across the district, you’ll collaborate closely with staff and play a key role in delivering OT services while providing Tier 1 supports for educators. The typical caseload is around 30 students, allowing ample opportunity for individualized care and comprehensive program development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed, or eligibility to obtain licensure, as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, with a strong understanding of school-age development
- Comfortable supporting classroom staff with Tier 1 strategies and consultation
- Confident, effective communicator with staff, students, and families
- References required and will be verified as part of the hiring process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement occupational therapy interventions for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other OT to deliver integrated supports districtwide
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Support Tier 1 strategies, providing insight and resources to teachers and school teams
- Track progress, complete documentation, and maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines
