30.34A Nuclear Medicine Technologist opportunity is available in Fort Pierce, FL at a 380-bed acute-care hospital that serves as a Level II Trauma Center, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and the region's only provider of Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. The facility offers a comprehensive cardiac institute with open-heart surgery capability, along with orthopedics, oncology, labor and delivery, and both adult and pediatric emergency services. A CARF-accredited Physical Rehabilitation Center and outpatient surgical services round out the clinical scope.

The role. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in strict accordance with ALARA standards. Responsibilities include operating and regulating imaging equipment, developing and organizing films, and ensuring diagnostic quality across a range of nuclear medicine studies. The technologist works within a department that supports a high-volume, multi-specialty acute-care environment serving both adult and pediatric populations.

What we're looking for.

  • Associate Degree
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician license
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) — required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) — must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) — must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. Full-time, 8-hour shifts rotating across days and evenings (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM), with rotating weekend coverage.

Compensation. $30.34-42.47/hr
