Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support a student in an educational setting as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing vital care tailored to vision-related needs. This position focuses on offering one-on-one assistance to a student requiring help with G-tube feeds and monitoring during lunch due to choking risks. Additional responsibilities include delivering paraeducator support within the classroom environment.
Location: Aurora, CO
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one CNA care to a student with vision-related challenges
- Assist with G-tube feedings following established protocols
- Monitor student during meals to manage choking hazards
- Support classroom activities as a paraeducator based on needs
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Experience working with students requiring specialized care preferred
- Ability to follow healthcare and safety guidelines meticulously
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach
Schedule/Hours:
- Position begins ASAP and concludes on 5/22
- Hours aligned with school schedule at Gaskill Elementary
