We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis to cover a medical leave for at least four weeks, possibly longer. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate must excel in managing multiple financial systems and demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile transactions across multiple bank accounts, PayPal, and credit card statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks or similar accounting software to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Create and maintain detailed financial records to support audits and reporting requirements.
• Conduct advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUPs, to analyze and organize financial data.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve financial processes.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding account statuses.
• Support the team with ad hoc financial projects as needed.
• Maintain an organized and meticulous workspace in an onsite environment.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar financial software.
• Strong ability to reconcile complex bank accounts and credit card transactions.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and other analytical functions.
• Familiarity with managing multiple financial systems and accounts.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work onsite daily in a business casual environment.
