The Shipping Clerk, is responsible for clerical functions related to:
-Transportation
-Shipping/receiving
-Inventory of materials, stock, and equipment that is shipped in and out.
The main duties and responsibilities of a shipping clerk include inventory reporting, verifying, and approving shipments (outgoing or incoming).
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred. (3-5 years of relevant experience.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using shipping software, inventory management systems, and basic computer applications. (Word/Excel )
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and inventory records.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for handling shipments.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Preferable Bilingual
Compensation details: 20-21.65 Hourly Wage
