A vital opportunity for a registered nurse with emergency room experience in a dynamic clinical setting is now available in Keaau, HI. This role centers on providing dedicated care within a busy 28-bed emergency department that features trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitored rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency room environment.
- Manage high patient turnover efficiently while maintaining quality care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Adhere to all regulatory and departmental protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Hawaii RN license is required prior to the start of the assignment.
- Previous experience working in an emergency room setting is essential.
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- Night shifts, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly) after an initial orientation week.
- Orientation week schedule precedes regular shifts.
- Flexible to work within assigned shift hours; no guarantee of additional hours.
Assignment Details:
- The contract duration is 15 weeks.
- Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for a mandatory employee health appointment on Friday.
- Timely arrival is critical; candidates not able to comply should reconsider accepting the start date.
