A vital opportunity for a registered nurse with emergency room experience in a dynamic clinical setting is now available in Keaau, HI. This role centers on providing dedicated care within a busy 28-bed emergency department that features trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitored rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency room environment.
• Manage high patient turnover efficiently while maintaining quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Adhere to all regulatory and departmental protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Hawaii RN license is required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Previous experience working in an emergency room setting is essential.
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule:

• Night shifts, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly) after an initial orientation week.
• Orientation week schedule precedes regular shifts.
• Flexible to work within assigned shift hours; no guarantee of additional hours.

Assignment Details:

• The contract duration is 15 weeks.
• Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for a mandatory employee health appointment on Friday.
• Timely arrival is critical; candidates not able to comply should reconsider accepting the start date.
