Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Immediate openings for experienced per diem pharmacists to support busy retail pharmacy locations across Northern California. This urgent need arises as the peak season approaches, requiring skilled pharmacists ready to provide dependable coverage in multiple areas.
Locations:
- Sacramento (3-4 pharmacists)
- Bay Area/North Bay (2 pharmacists)
- Northern California (Redding, Chico) (2 pharmacists)
Position Type:
- Per diem, offering flexible scheduling with approximately 1-2 shifts per week depending on coverage needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
- Utilize McKesson Enterprise (ERx) software for prescription processing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in retail pharmacy practice.
- Proven ability to manage techs and handle opening/closing responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel and commute within assigned regions.
- Ideal candidates may currently hold part-time positions and seek additional shifts.
Additional Information:
- Mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 30 miles one way.
