Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to provide essential services at an elementary school location in San Francisco, CA. This contract position spans the academic school year (NSY) and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of young learners.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering targeted therapy to address speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and facilitate effective communication strategies in the classroom.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License with CCC certification
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Strong knowledge of child language development and speech disorders
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Location: Single elementary school site in San Francisco, CA
Duration: Contract for the academic school year (NSY)
