Job Title: IV Nurse Specialist (Registered Nurse)
Location: Georgetown, Washington D.C. (On-site)
Job Type: Part-time, Per Diem

About THE DRIPBaR:
THE DRIPBaR has opened in Georgetown, DC. Our concept is simple: we provide clients with the freshest, highest-quality intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) vitamin drips that deliver essential nutrients directly to the cellular level for maximum absorption.

Our clients are proactive about their health—they seek anti-aging benefits, enhanced energy, mental sharpness, and overall wellness. They are not waiting to get sick; they are working to stay well.

We are seeking happy, upbeat, and client-focused Registered Nurses to promote and deliver these therapies, supporting our clients’ healthy lifestyles.

Position Overview:
The IV Nurse Specialist will assess client health, monitor infusion therapies, and respond appropriately to changes in symptoms or pain. Nurses must demonstrate empathy, excellent communication, and the ability to interact with clients in various emotional states.

Infusion nurses administer IV vitamin therapies following established protocols. Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prioritize multiple patients with differing needs are essential. This role emphasizes client care over paperwork and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare IV and IM vitamins for administration using proper techniques.

  • Perform venipuncture, peripheral IV placement, and access implanted ports.

  • Monitor clients during infusion therapy.

  • Maintain and manage inventory, including ordering and verifying supplies.

  • Ensure infusion areas are clean, sterile, and compliant with protocols.

  • Document therapy details in the client’s chart using EHR.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, including appointment scheduling, reviewing health forms, and client interaction.

  • Consult and coordinate with medical providers on patient care plans and standing orders as needed.

  • Respond appropriately in emergency situations following established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Registered Nurse).

  • Current, unrestricted DC RN license.

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including infusion therapy, patient assessment, and venous access skills.

  • Current BLS certification.

  • Strong IV peripheral skills; experience accessing ports and PICC lines.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive pay.

  • Access to all services offered at THE DRIPBaR Washington D.C. (IVs and IM injections) at a discounted rate.

  • Flexible scheduling.

  • Referral program.

Shift availability and hours may fluctuate based on business needs. Additional hours may be required during peak periods. Schedule to be discussed during the interview.

Required Application Materials:

  • Resume

  • List of 3 professional references
