We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Midland, TX. This float position involves working across multiple nearby locations, providing top-tier specimen collection and patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and collect specimens (blood, urine, fecal) with precision and professionalism
- Use straight and butterfly needles confidently across diverse patient populations
- Accurately label, split, freeze, and package specimens for transport
- Match requisition forms with specimen tubes and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and facility safety standards
- Provide courteous explanations of procedures and respond to patient inquiries
- Record maintenance logs, decontaminate workspaces, and update patient records
- Support workflow improvements and assist in training new team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting (donor center experience not applicable)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid phlebotomy certification preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have reliable transportation for travel between assigned locations

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
