Job DescriptionSenior Quality Inspector – Lead With Precision, Authority, and Technical Excellence

As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will serve as a technical authority on measurement, compliance, and product integrity across aerospace, military, and commercial programs. You won’t just inspect parts—you’ll safeguard the reputation of the organization. You’ll be trusted to make high‑level decisions, validate complex components, and collaborate with engineering and leadership to ensure every product meets the strictest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute advanced dimensional inspections using height gauges, pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments
- Perform high‑accuracy audits using variable and attribute measuring equipment
- Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T requirements with expert‑level proficiency
- Apply aerospace, military, and industry specifications to inspection workflows
- Conduct conventional and advanced inspections using systems such as Keyence, CMM, and Zeiss
- Lead First Part Buy Off, Receiving, In‑Process, Final, and First Article Inspections
- Review, interpret, and validate CMM reports to determine part acceptance
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and leadership to resolve technical issues and drive corrective actions
- Document nonconformances and ensure Work Order operations are completed accurately
- Support internal audits and contribute to maintaining certification readiness
- Manage, maintain, and issue gaging for the manufacturing floor
- Uphold procedural compliance and ensure proper care of all inspection equipment

- Strong experience in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 documentation
- Mastery of mechanical inspection tools with no additional training required
- Deep understanding of quality control principles, measurement science, and visual inspection
- Advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&T interpretation
- Aerospace or defense industry experience is highly valued
- A proactive, solutions‑driven mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and elevate processes

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $66560.00/yr.
- Climate Controlled and super clean - Guaranteed 3% company contribution to 401k (not a match. For example, if you put in 6% they put 3% and if you put 0% they put 3%) - 1 weeks PTO right away plus the Minnesota sick pay on top of that - Average tenure is 10+ years - Life Insurance - Health, dental, vision, etc... (their benefits for a single person are very phenomenal) - Sometimes will have a bonus at the end of the year depending on company performance/profits
