We are on the hunt for a dynamic, driven, and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in the healthcare construction sector. This role is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, ground-up commercial projects, specifically within the hospital construction discipline. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from preconstruction planning to construction and close-out, ensuring that all projected costs and profits are accurately managed. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare facilities. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing large-scale, ground-up commercial projects, with a focus on hospital construction. This includes overseeing all stages of the project, from preconstruction to construction and close-out.
2. Developing and implementing project strategies, ensuring that all projected costs and profits are accurately managed.
3. Collaborating with stakeholders, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to healthcare construction.
5. Managing and resolving any project-related issues or difficulties, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress and performance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
2. Proven experience managing large-scale, ground-up commercial projects, specifically within the hospital construction discipline.
3. Strong knowledge of preconstruction planning, construction, and close-out processes.
4. Excellent understanding of projected costs and profits in the construction industry.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve project-related issues effectively.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and contractors.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
10. Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to healthcare construction.
