About The Construction Estimator Position
- The Construction Estimator will accept and evaluate clients request for constructions proposals
- Provide detailed and accurate proposal for requested work scope from client
- Performs construction biddings services and preparation of cost estimates for client
- Will arrange and attend project pre-bid site visits and assessments
- Reviews bid documents
- Manages proposal process from inception to completion
- Prepare conceptual scope of work drawings for distribution
- Solicit pricing from vendors and sub-contractors
- Locates new sub-contractors and vendors based on geographical areas
- Updates the subcontractor and vendor lists
- Will compile and update historical cost data
