Job Title: Machine Builder
1st shift (Flexible Hours) - $28-$35/HR
Job Description
This position involves assembling, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components for automated equipment. You will build sub-assemblies and assemble machines with the help of documentation such as SolidWorks models, mechanical parts and assembly drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in machine power-up, verify I/O and basic functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to debug machines, correct problems, and verify appropriate functionality.
- Participate in the testing and tear down (shipping preparation) of packaging machinery.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of project documentation.
- Perform basic part fabrication and modification.
- Verify fit and function of parts as well as the completion and function of assemblies.
- Use equipment such as hand and power tools, precision measuring tools, grinding/sanding/polishing tools, lathes, mills, hydraulic press, drill press, and fork trucks.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and machine building.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to read assembly prints and electrical schematics.
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
