NVE is seeking a highly experienced, attentive, and knowledgeable person to become our full-time Health and Safety Officer and implement a quality safety program in Fort Meade, MD. This is a DISA Base Operations and Support contract, so you'll need a secret clearance and OSHA certification (or equivalent). OUR IDEAL HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER

You'll be creating, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety programs. Secret clearance is required, and we're looking for experience with a contract supporting the restoration, modernization, and sustainment of a 1,000,000+ sq ft. building. Here are the minimum qualifications:

  • Secret clearance
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience preparing and enforcing safety programs for similar contracts
  • Completion of the OSHA 30-hour construction safety class (or equivalent) within the last five years
  • Completion of at least 24 hours of annual safety training over the past five years
  • High school degree or equivalent
