\n\nJob Description\n

Join a dedicated team in the Emergency Department, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The unit typically maintains a patient ratio of 4:1, with adjustments for behavioral holds. The department prides itself on its teamwork and the ability to cater to a multicultural community.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

    \n
  • Provide patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
  • \n

  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • \n

  • Utilize advanced equipment and technology for patient care.
  • \n

  • Participate in documentation and maintain patient records using Cerner.
  • \n

  • Adhere to unit-specific guidelines and patient experience standards, including AIDET and respectful behavior.
  • \n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an ER setting.
  • \n

  • Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or high-volume emergency department preferred.
  • \n

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before the start date.
  • \n

  • ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
  • \n
